Old School Archive is a curated storefront, with contractual relationships with all the artists and collaborators featured here. The STL files provided by Ill Gotten Games through Old School Archive are for personal, non-commercial use only! By purchasing, downloading, accessing, or using these files you agree to the terms and conditions and are bound by its provisions. If you do not accept or agree with these terms, do not download the content we provide. Ill Gotten Games is the owner of the STL files, but the content of these files is copyrighted work belonging to the attributed artist/collaborator.
Purchasing these STLs grants you a non-transferable, non-exclusive license to personally use the files.
The license allows you to print the STL files for personal, non-commercial use only.
You may not sell, share, distribute, rent, or transfer the STL files or the materials that you produce from said files.
You can resize or cut the contents of the files for personal use. You may not otherwise modify, duplicate, create derivative works of, disassemble, reverse compile or reverse engineer any part. The STL files may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, republished, or displayed.
Any theft, redistribution, resale, imitation, licensing, leasing, or claimed ownership of these materials will be considered a breach of contract, an infringement of copyright law, and dealt with accordingly.
To be clear – there is no commercial license available for the files available through Old School Archive. Many of these models are already/currently available for sale in physical versions. The rights-holders are receiving generous residuals for each model sold; allowing a commercial license would create a situation where these collaborators are financially competing against themselves.
Additionally, occasional releases to Old School Archive will be considered “Lost Miniatures,” scans of models that publicly do not have commercial, copyrighted ownership. Ill Gotten Games has completed due diligence to locate rights-holders. These models may be downloaded for no charge. However, if rights-holders are found, the models will no longer be available and any printing of such models should cease, if requested by said party.
